PORTUGUESE SPEAKING RECEPTIONIST

We are a professional accountancy and business advisory firm based in London, providing trusted financial and business advice to both businesses and private clients to suit their individual needs.
We are looking for a receptionist/administrator that is able to carry out a range of tasks to assist the effective functioning of the business. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to join our friendly and fast-growing team:

Your Responsibilities

Receptionist duties will include, but are not limited to:
Telephone answering, screening and directing calls
Manage the consultants’ calendars (booking and confirming appointments)
Dealing with simple enquiries and provide information to clients by phone and internet (email and online chat)
Distribute incoming post and receive deliveries, process faxes, scanning, booking and chasing couriers.
Prepare letters and documents for the post run
Keeping files and forms organised and up to date
Chasing clients for outstanding paperwork or information
Processing invoices
Contact the HMRC when necessary to assist in our clients’ processes

Required Skills & Experience

Fluent in English and Portuguese (Essential)
Some knowledge of Spanish (Desirable)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and computers
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Experience of customer service principles and practices
Excellent telephone manner

Ideally your skill level will be equivalent to 1+ years as a Receptionist/Administrator. You will have strong organisational and administrative skills, be self motivated and a team player.

PORTUGUESE SPEAKING BOOKKEEPER

Are you a committed bookkeeper from an accountancy practice background with proven experience of using FreeAgent and Sage accounting software? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your existing skills and contribute to the ongoing success of our well established company.

We are a firm of accountants that have been trading for over 9 years and provide a stable and secureworking environment. We are now looking for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

Your Responsibilities

Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Producing monthly or quarterly management accounts
Preparing information to support year-end accounts
Keeping fully up-to- date with professional developments in the industry
Organising customer records and completing effective and accurate bookkeeping duties
Overseeing a portfolio of clients and businesses
Resolving any technical queries from other bookkeeping staff
Working with FreeAgent and Sage Software

Required Skills & Experience

Fluent in Portuguese and additionally Spanish/Italian is advantage
Previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice and the ability to undertake both simple and more complex bookkeeping tasks
Experience of working with FreeAgent and Sage software
The ability to prepare management accounts for companies and other entities and handle more complex accounting matters
The ability to understand documents and data and write clear letters and emails

The ideal candidate should be committed and organised, you should have great
communication, analytical and team working skills with the ability to constantly exceed customer expectations.

PORTUGUESE SPEAKING ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an assistant accountant that is able to carry out a range of tasks to assist the effective functioning of the business. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to join our friendly and fast-growing team.

It is essential that the candidate has previous experience with accounting in the UK, and/or is a part qualified accountant, currently studying for an accountancy qualification.

Your Responsibilities

Organising clients files, archiving, scanning documents and opening new files
Support for the accountants and consultants with admin
Communicating with HM Revenue & Customs on daily basis
Replying client emails and returning calls
Processing Self-Assessment Tax returns
Updating our Customer Management System
Dealing with third party enquiries
Preparation of managerial reports

Required Skills & Experience

Fluent in Portuguese and English
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Experience in customer services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well organised, reliable and being able to work on your own initiative
